Selling - Fees & Charges

SA Property will talk you through all of the relevant costs involved during our marketing meeting.

We can offer you different options when it comes to selling your home;

  1. The traditional way
    Our most popular way to sell your property.
    • You are only charged the agreed selling fee once the sale is completed.
    • You are not tied in to an exclusive tie in period.
    • If you are not happy with our work, you are free to leave
  2. The online way*

    A modern approach, more of a "do it yourself" approach.

    We will charge you up front, then market your home in the best possible way.

  3. Sales progression

    We can help with your private sale (or if you have gone the online way and need some help after a sale has been agreed) to progress your move.

Additional costs are highlighted below:

  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) & Property Floor Plan - £120.00 inc VAT

    Every property needs an EPC, whether for sale or rent, and is renewed every 10 years.

    We also include the creation of a floor plan as well.

  • Floor Plan - £72.00 inc VAT
  • Gas Certificate - £78.00 inc VAT

    Solicitors, when dealing with a sale, often ask for a Gas Safety Certificate

  • Maintenance Work Handling Charge - £7.80 inc VAT

    If we arrange maintenance work on your behalf at your property, this handling fee is charged for our administration time.

* Please note that with the online option there are different “add ons” that you can choose, such as a for sale sign, viewings and other aspects that can be agreed upon instruction
